Macworld predictions

by jaganath on January 15, 2008

Beginning first week of January every year, everyone and his grandma start predicting about new announcements that his Steveness will make on his keynote address at the MacWorld. This year, the net is abuzz with the AirBook rumors.

Not to be left behind, let me too make my predictions for this year’s MacWorld, which is just a few hours away from start. Needless to say, these predictions were created in consultation with my grandma who is an amateur astrologer.

  • iPhone with 16 GB capacity
  • DRM free content expanded and prices slashed on the iTunes music store
  • Apple TV 2.0. May have support for a tuner card (Every apple fan’s dream)
  • Redesigned Macbook Pro with Penryn processors
  • Updates to OS X, iLife 08
  • One more thing: Demo of a one new product which will be released in July.
  • See you next year. (Yep. Seriously.)

Don’t miss the demo of Office 2008 by a Microsoft official during the keynote.
