Oh I'm very confused! I'm in the UK and my contract with O2 finished a week ago. I phoned them today to get me a nice new HTC Touch Pro (they call it the O2 XDA Serra) and they don't sell it over the phone! However they did offer me the Sony Ericsson X1, and to be honest I'd never heard of it before. I told them to leave a note on my account so I could go back to it and I've been offered a really fantastic deal (nearly half what I was expecting to pay).

Now, the X1 looks like a great phone on paper. The only thing is I just can't get over how it LOOKS! All the reviews I'm reading are saying it's so cool and "beautiful" but I think the bottom half of the phone with all the criss-cross buttons is just ugly. The phone looks slim and the keyboard doesn't have a row of numbers at the top like on the Pro, the screen isn't flush so will collect dirt, the menu just looks too busy like it'll choke and die if I run too many apps......but then I keep thinking about the deal I've been offered!

Ohhhh what to dooooo?!!

true when looking at the specs the x1 is better and it definatly feels more solid as it is made out of metal but the one downfall it has is the screen size and dimensions its simply to small for the resolution which makes it tricky to use even with small fingers, i have had a lot of time to play with it as i work for a telco and still much prefer the ease of use of the pro...which i hapen to be typing on right now:-P

It's hardly "Trivia" that HTC is making all the killer phones today. That's the story of the year.
